IT Business Analyst – FX & Derivatives Back Office (Application Support)

New York (Grand Central Area) or Jersey City, NJ
Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite per week

Job Responsibilities:
Provide daily support to local users of the FX and Derivatives back-office systems.
Liaise with the Tokyo development team to communicate requirements, issues, and enhancement requests, and ensure alignment throughout the development cycle.
Design and document system interfaces with related upstream and downstream systems.
Perform integration testing, interface testing, UAT, and migration activities.
Troubleshoot system issues and work with global teams to ensure timely resolution.
Participate in production releases, including change management preparation and post-release checks.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in system development, using waterfall and/or agile methodologies.
Strong knowledge of financial markets, including FX, derivatives, and currency options.
Understanding of back-office operations, such as credit limit management, risk management, settlement and position management.
Experience providing user support for business or back-office systems.
Ability to perform data extraction and analysis using SQL or similar languages.
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
Familiarity with Kanban methodologies and JIRA is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently as well as in team environments.

Full Time Employee
Compensation:
The expected salary ranges from $80,000 - $110,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
